About Wendy

Wendy brings over 25 years of sales/marketing and customer service to her real estate career. Wendy has been serving the greater Chico area in real estate since 2002 and is excited to be partnering with Keller Williams Realty to provide clients with the exceptional service they deserve. From 2002 until 2007 Wendy worked with RE/MAX of Chico before starting DeWitt Real Estate Group in 2007.

Keller Williams Realty reflects the core values at the heart of Wendy’s real estate business. A key piece of this is their Values Statement which simply says, “God, Family, and then Business.” Very few companies these days are able and willing to state clearly the importance of putting God and family before career. Wendy knows that as she honors God and her family, her business will excel.

Wendy has always had a strong commitment to education and with the unique and comprehensive educational resources offer by Keller Williams University, she and her team will be able to stay on top of the details of the ever changing real estate market, so you don’t have to. Wendy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mesa State College in Colorado in 1985. She then spent four years in the US Air Force working in the Personnel Department in Europe while working towards her Master’s degree in Business Administration. Her husband, Dan, also served in the Air Force as Security Police. They married in 1987 and really enjoyed their military careers together. They wanted to raise their two daughters in California near family, so they settled in Chico in 1991. Chico offered them the rich culture the university brings and the enjoyment of being in a community where everyone feels welcome and connected.

The girls attended Notre Dame Catholic School until high school and now attend Pleasant Valley High School and California State University Chico. Wendy grew up in Girl Scouting and was a Girl Scout leader for her daughters’ troops for eight years. Dan is a principal in Bidwell Consulting Services and has been working in the Retirement Planning industry since 1994 and the Computer industry since 1990. They enjoy traveling, bike riding, boating, horseback riding, family BBQ’s and visiting the ocean.
